As announced to the press and VIPs guests, just like a year ago, Apple’s keynote is set for September 12th.
“Let’s meet at our place” reports the invitation, referring to the fact that this year the keynote will be held in the futuristic auditorium Steve Jobs Theater: inaugurated a year ago at the September keynote, the innovative auditorium is built underground , in the corner of the Cupertino Apple Park campus, intimate, despite having 1,000 seats, none of which are more than 100 meters from the stage.
The rumors are not lacking even if the Cupertino company, you know, tries to keep a veil of secrecy on the event: Nobody knows how to create suspense as much as Apple, so even if we think we know what can be revealed, Cupertino will keep all the outstanding pending details until the day of the event so as not to spoil the surprise.
But what should we expect, what will be the news?
This year there could be three iPhone with radically different designs, a full-screen iPad Pro with Face ID, the highly anticipated charging pad AirPower, the fourth generation of Apple Watch, a new MacBook – probably an entry-level model – that could replace the MacBook Air and maybe even AirPods 2.
The Apple logo, as originally conceived includes all the colors of the rainbow but this year’s invitation was gold on black, a circle. The shape and proportions correspond exactly to those of Apple Park, home of the company’s office.
What can we deduce: Symmetry? Elegance? A classy gold color?
It is expected that the next iPhone, unlike the iPhone X will come in different colors including gold. The iPhone 9, will have prices that range between $ 600 and $ 700 and will be the most accessible, while iPhone 11 will see the light in two variants: in addition to the classic, there will be plus model with 6.5-inch screen, both with display oled and with prices that will swing around $ 1000.
The other big news should be the new iWatch.
What could it look like?
Larger display – with an increase of 15% – on a watch of the same size as the current one, obtained thanks to the extension of the screen: as seen in the image, it seems that the corner elements are closer to the curve of the glass compared to what they do now. It will be interesting to see if the focus will be on the smaller clock that will have a larger display. The current straps will still be compatible.
It seems that the digital crown will not be physically pressed inward as it is done now, but will offer tactile feedback to give the impression of movement and will also be replaced by a delicate red ring – since the current red all round – indicating a model LTE.
But to get the confirmation of all the news we just have to wait a couple of weeks in trepidation, but mark the date, September 12, because for all fans of the apple will be another day of rich news.
